Ballydel Technologies is a research & development firm focused on the development of innovative materials and manufacturing technologies. We develop novel products, while also improving existing products and their respective manufacturing processes.

Ballydel is located within the Delaware Innovation Space at DuPont’s Experimental Station in Wilmington, Delaware. All of our technologies are created and developed in the United States.

Leadership
Dr. Brendan G. DeLacy is President & Founder of Ballydel Technologies. Dr. DeLacy brings a diverse and proven scientific background along with a "roll up your sleeves" approach to technology development and commercialization. His 25+ years in the the defense, pharmaceutical, and atmospheric communities have cultivated a diverse scientific and management approach to problem solving and project execution. He has co-authored over 70 journal articles, conference proceedings, and technical reports on a variety of topics related to materials science, chemistry, and electromagnetics. Dr. DeLacy received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry from St. Joseph’s University, a M.S. degree in Applied Physics from Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Drexel University.
